Cedric Michael Cox is a prominent Cincinnati-based painter whose work is very much informed by both music and the urban environment. I developed his identity, web site, several promotional posters and other print collateral to showcase and promote his work.
For his exhibits at the Contemporary Arts Center and The Carnegie Visual and Performing Arts Center, I designed posters with complex geometric forms lifted from Cedric’s paintings and referencing the two exhibition venues. Each poster was screenprinted in two colors onto vivid paper.
