Utilizing funding from the Cincinnati Parks Department and private sponsorships, I co-organized the first annual Owl’s Nest Fest, a family-friendly afternoon of live music, fun activities, food and beer, vendors, and community organizations. I selected the bands, secured community partners and took the lead on the name and identity for the event which annually activates an otherwise quiet city park with an unutilized pavilion. The park is located on the edge of diverse neighborhoods, and Owl’s Nest Fest created a welcoming, inclusive experience for all attendees. Promotional materials are bold and designed to be economical to print.
